Lazaro C. Barcelos is a saxophone, flute, clarinet and music theory teacher from the Philippines. He was born in 1968 in Batangas, Philippines and has four children. Lazaro discovered his musical talent at the age of 15 and started to play on several musical instruments. After the high school graduation Lazaro got a scholarship at The University of the Philippines in Manila, department of DCPMA (Diploma in Creative Performing Music and Arts) major in clarinet. During his studies he learned different kinds of instruments such as the saxophone and flute and started to work. Lazaro has been working at Ministry of Interior as a clarinet instructor for 10 years and teaching at Bahrain Music Institute. Lazaro is a very popular teacher among his students who like to call him teacher Larry.
